Of course the smarmy airhead keeps plugging (pun) for electric vehicles at twice the price (more tax & Gst)so everyone one will go bust funding them then there will not be enough power to run them park them up on the verges then you will have to walk ride swim or catch the buses. Plus with no vehicles on the roads Govt.won't have to spend zilch money upgrading roads eg potholes etc. So missy thinks it is win win for an effwit govt going down the gurgler- welcome to 1929 Part 2> if you don't want this B/S then vote them out en masse and make sure they never darken (pun) our shores again
The poverty gap is upsetting. Has this wretched Government done anything right - I examined a list of their activities, and it would appear not

Funnily enough, I believe in electric cars. I don't, however, agree that a massive battery is the answer to powering them.
Toyota and general motors are already developing ways to use hydrogen for ev vehicles, and Toyota has gone step further.
They have developed a v8 internal combustion engine, that can run on hydrogen.
A bit like the days when we had lpg or cng.
This is what troubles me. You have to mine for lithium, and cobalt to make a battery for am ev. You still need to house it in fossil fuel sourced casings. Then the copper has to be mined to provide the windings for the prime mover.
If the horrific nightmare ever eventuated of Ardern et al getting back in next year, make no mistake electric cars will effectively be mandated in the name of "climate change". In reality a disingenuous way of getting rid of cars, as few will be able to afford them, thereby forcing people onto bulk public transport such as it is.

The fuel source, ie a battery, is wrong.
And…
