Like her stone age ancestors who slaughtered the entire megafauna of this country before starting to eat each other, not too many generations back either.

I arrived in N Z in 1949. I knew maoris in their 50s and 60s back then so that takes them to being born in the 1800s their parents were possibly cannibals and their grandparents absolutely so not that many generations back

What an unbelievable disgrace this so called government is. If the majority of councils stick to their guns ( and what the majority of their ratepayers support) what can the dictators do? They can legislate whatever they want in their demented mindset, but if people just say 'no', what can they do in practice? Bottom line, DEMOCRACY, We've had enough, get stuffed. None of us voted for this totally hidden agenda. .Our once proud country identified itself on fair play and equal opportunity for all. We are not your Lego set, you bloody traitors.

The 3 waters proposal is probably the most significant change to NZ governance structures EVER. Has anybody seen a single article from the mainstream media setting out the exactly what is being proposed by the government, the pros (if there are any) and the cons, plus the rights of all citizens and ratepayers (of any ethnicity) to participate in these discussions? It used to be said 'the pen is mightier than the sword' - our media appears to have mislaid theirs. They do not deserve to survive, in their wholesale rejection of their fundamental democratic obligations.

The elephant in the room that no one wants to discuss is the 50% IWI control and right of veto. That alone should disqualify 3 waters in the mind of anyone that can think...

They need to stop being , as I see it, as " labour light".

They need to remember their roots.... And it's just not all about the rural community ( I live rurally) . I'm not a farmer... But I'm sick and tired of seeing the hardest working people in my local community constantly denigrated by faceless and useless simpletons in Wellington that wouldn't know shit from a shovel. There are also many friends of mine that are urbanites and and have the same concerns that we share out here in the boondocks.

And... I'm sorry , because I think Judith Collins has done her best.

She received a bloody hospital pass and took it. But I think it's time…

I do not think that either National nor ACT are doing anything significant. Both have lost their bottle totally. The New Conservatives may have a little bottle now but how quickly will they lose it.
