Last week in Pahiatua a rumour started circulating there had been a casual Covid contact at the New World Supermarket.

It wasn't long before the Covid Bus was parked on the now empty Hoffman Car yard in the centre of town on the Main Street and lines of worried residents were starting to snake down the road.

What struck me as interesting was the location of the mobile nose swabbers. The land the bus was on, is soon to be the very modern, upmarket Monarch Funeral Home which is run by the very presentable Lance Shearman. . Directly across the road on the opposite corner is the business known as the Louis Smith Coffin Factory.

Dont know what it means,…

Brilliant.

Masks and Vaccination status have become ritualised, missing either one in the wrong public context is now deemed as indecent as exposing breasts or penis.

Been an old person now I don't have to worry about exposing my penis, I have trouble tying to find it myself, luckily I have not grown breasts as yet, some of my mates have great man breasts now,.

So that old saying, the eyes are the window to ones soul, can you read peoples eyes to see if they are smiling, those babies and really young children who have only known people with masks on, what impression will that have on their future lives, we are turning into a faceless society, maybe that is where we are heading non binary no face, smooth hairless and just a couple of eyes poking out from behind a mask a perfect society.

I normally enjoy Garrick's humour, but I'm searching for a cryptic political joke here, perhaps there isn't one.
