Please keep and add Mawree names to Govt departments at least until the next election so the opposition can constantly refer to their abject failures and wasteful spending of tax dollars. With luck the association with ardern labour & mawree will achieve the decimation of those parties so we can get on with life without their obstruction.

Is this not the same shit that has caused the Russian clean up in the eastern Ukraine, the locals of that area were been forced to speak and learn Ukraine, those who spoke their native tongue Russian in shops were fined, along with the Neo Nazis the Azov killing and attacking the local population since 2014, the question is will we end up in that situation, fined for not speaking maori and in a civil war.

It's already a civil war. Stalinda has yet however to successfully implement her hate-speech laws which will criminalize any dissent from the narrative of the noble Maori master-race.

Problem is its not just the govt dept names, unless you work in a govt agency you won't believe how all pervasive it is...

One team I worked with started & ended every meeting with a karakia. If we had 20 highly paid govt staffers spending 10 mins of every meeting saying a Christian prayer everyone would be up in arms,

Sure, there's a widespread indoctrination campaign. The school history curriculum is part of that. If the Ardern Government could get away with it no doubt everybody would be forced to attend 're-education'. Presumably most public servants feel they need to keep their heads down and fit in or end up jobless, whilst others having been radicalised are happy to collaborate.

The English name should be the primary one with the Maori name in a subordinate position. Maybe the Maori name in much smaller letters below the English one. This is because we are an English speaking country and clarity is required in these matters.

Also, we should all have a personal preference in how we are addressed in correspondence. I prefer Hi there or Good morning as the Maori words do not resonate with me. If they resonate with others that is their choice.

Concur. I always wanted to say “top of morning to ya” in a fake Irish accent, but desisted.
