According to veteran broadcaster Peter Williams:
"It was a really good show, deserving of a wider audience.
It was “The Working Group” live debate on David Seymour’s Treaty Principles Bill. It was a show that either TV 1 or TV 3 should have shown live.
But they lack the courage to do so."
Settle down, boys and girls, settle down!
We are one country now. Get used to it. You've had 200 years plus to wrap the head around this little missive. New Zealand isn't yours never has been. Pay for it did ya? I didn't think so. Being here first is a weak and pathetic argument that only serves to illustrate how poor you were at taking care of new Zealand and it's wildlife.
You ate the lot. So. New Zealand?
. It's ours. And you are definitely included in this process. We are
One people,a collective of different races that should believe in unity and not any sort of race based compartmentalization of needs based on ethnicity of perceived race.
If you can't come to terms with that…
I’m glad I listened to this. My observation is that Helmut’s sole point that his whole argument rests upon is that Maori didn’t cede sovereignty. I’m sure that Ewan McQueen, Paul Moon and many others can provide strong historical evidence to the contrary.
David’s ‘outcomes’ speech at the finish was, by contrast, a powerful and practical argument.
A Helmut or a Helmet?
