LINDSAY MITCHELL: Most open and transparent government ever

Three weeks ago I highlighted a very disturbing trend in benefit numbers.

In the ten-week period to September 15, 2023 the number of people on a main benefit rose by 6,768 or almost two percent, whereas in the ten-week period ending September 16, 2022 the numbers were virtually flat with a very small decrease of 141 recipients.

I would like to be able to tell you that the trend has been arrested but after the last report was published on 22/9/2023 and showed a further one week increase of 948 the data stopped appearing.

The reason given is "processing delays".

Perhaps campaign sensitivities might be closer to the truth.

For three weeks now no updated data has been made public.

Election day eve is as good a time as ever to remind ourselves that Jacinda Ardern promised New Zealanders the most open and transparent government ever.

Labour, the very opposite of Lindsay’s title has been turfed out. Results on the night: National plus ACT 62 plus another National seat to be in the late November by election. Winnie’s “help“.not essential. Our arch enemies, purveyors of the evil He Puapua and anti democracy, Mrs Mahuta and Mr McAnulty - gone. Good riddance to their policies.

Grow up for god sake. Jacinda Adern‘s last 3 yrs were hell and she did bloody well considering the hand she was dealt and the so called (expert) advice she was given. She cannot be blamed for the last 3 years of cowtowing and division. She is gone. Attack the policy not the person. And I’m voting National party vote Act.

We must continue to combat the evilness of this government - never forgive or forget the damage done to this once great country......

May the outcome of today give us a glimmer of hope for the future,

Ardern is part of a globalist group that wish to enslave us all......karma will deal with her.......

Well done to everyone here and everywhere, that has done their utmost to awaken the sleeping and know you have tried your best - some are beyond help, that is how life is......
