I don't know about you but we are missing Garrick Tremain horribly. Here's a fine example of how his satire can make you smile and want to cry all at once:

Perhaps an explanation for my silence is in order. In 2019 I gladly parted ways with the increasingly woke Otago Daily Times after 32 years as its daily cartoonist. A number of readers contacted me to plead that I continue cartooning, despite having no outlet. I advised that should I produce further cartoons I would email such work to them. They were interesting times under the most incompetent and destructive government this country has ever experienced, which kept me cartooning for nearly another 4 years. Daily …

That man should be bloody well knighted for " services to the truth " .
He has the exceptional gift to say, at the stroke of a pen or 30 , what we all feel and think here, and make it real to us.
His cartoons are a godsend and a reminder to all of us that humor can propogate from even the worst situations we've faced over the last 6 years of abject faliure from a government I personally take exception to ever being re elected in my lifetime ever again.
