Here we have Melissa Lee and Sean Plunket speaking the obvious, as it has been since the government first began bribing the media to support the Maori takeover so they could harvest votes using what they see as an easy sell.. I wonder how Maori feel about being treated as though they have a ring through their noses and can be patronised like this? Advocacy journalism is about as cynical and corrupt as it gets, because if you have the half broke media on side, voluntarily selling their souls to the devil, how can you possibly get the alternative view across to the general public? By selling separatism instead racial unity, Labour is effectively turning on the very people wh…

Can we just visit this free speech issue?

Simon O' Connor states to his Facebook followers ( who probably know his views).

Something to the effect: it's been a great day.

This in response to SCOTUS handing the abortion legislation issues back to the separate US states where it should be. SCOTUS comprising Democrat and Republican judges. Nothing to do with New Zealand or our legislation. Immediately all the morons and mentals come out of the woodwork! We are indeed doomed if we have got to this stage folks!

Luxon: First obligation to those who voted him in, second to support his fellow MPs. No obligation to the media whatsoever.

He could have said." I have reiterated my point three times. this does not apply to New Zealand. We are changing nothing....next question please....'

My point is "Why does he think he has such an obligation to the media?" Lets face it, most conservative voters watch independent sites now. Did he get 10,000 emails from his electorate telling him to silence O'Connor"? 10,000 being a majority of the 19,000 people who voted for him. Just think about it for a moment, A person, whose views are probably well known to his electorate is reprimanded

for having an opinion. I just can't agree on this one. Luxon needs to realise, he will never get the approval of the media. We are…

correct. in my mind it is insane that a party with only 7% voter support gets to select a new government.

Sean asked Melissa if she considered herself to be a pakeha. She said quite strongly NO!

Interestingly I once heard Prof Margaret Motu, (and whose is game to argue with her) the the term pakeha only referred to the English.

From my perspective every time any one has called me a pakeha it has been in a derogatory sense. Therefore, I ain't one either!
