My anxiety is from lying bent bureacrats and politicians helping the globalists take more money from our pockets for BS. If they are worried about the climate then stop weather modification.

Our opinions and 'arguments' are one thing, but in reality our foreign commercial interests alone will force us to contribute in some measurable way (no matter if it is tiny by international standards) to reducing our reliance on some of the traditional sources of energy.

Does that mean we suddenly abandon our mining for raw materials, or using oil, gas and coal, or invent new taxes to burden our food producers with? Of course not - most of us live in Planet Real, and we know that we cannot just switch to what are called "renewables" in the blink of an eye.

Nevertheless, the pressure to reduce our carbon emissions is there. Fortunately we can listen and read, and we…

An earlier comment I made here was shitcanned, and reflecting upon it rightly so.

It added nothing to the debate over a very contentious issue that does divide and separate people.

This is the problem.

Only one side of the narrative is ever seen as gospel, and any opposing view is immediately screamed down and told to " follow the science".

Ask David Bellamy how it feels to be canceled because of his views on the subject. I suppose now he's labeled as an idiot climate denier as well.

Now, that's just pure wrong.

Hello Just Boris, I thought this post + comments had probably closed down by now, so I suspect you and I have just about got it all to ourselves.

OK, ignoring your hint of sarcasm. your two points are actually almost correct.

  1. If this were akin to a murder trial it would mean the jury were overwhelmingly in agreement that AGW was the main culprit in the climate change recorded over the past century. Guilty as charged!

  2. A list of the scientists in the 198 international scientific organisations (agreeing that the basic AGW theory accounts for the multitude of changes in so many different fields of the natural environment) would indeed be daunting. But note, that I am agreeing with…

I need to correct my statement on Al Gore living in a 25 bedroom mansion. I didn’t realise he had sold it and purchased a $8,875,000 ocean-view villa on 1.5 acres with a swimming pool, spa and fountains, a real estate source familiar with the deal confirms. The Italian-style house has six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Good that he has an ocean view he can measure the height of the waves each day.. I guess he has his swimming pool, spa and fountains running entirely off the grid as NINE bathrooms using recycled water.

Al Gore. Hypocrisy personified - discredited several times over, yet the name still pops up.
