Well Charlie, unless anything happens to change my view, I'm voting Act this time. The Nats should make it in (should...) but I do think we need Act in there to provide some spine, and ensure there's delivery.

One of the great failures of socialist politicians is that they always over-promise, and under-deliver. It is vital that our conservative govt (assuming they get in) holds true.

Mr Luxon was chosen to represent the most influential people in the National Party. That tells us a lot about the ideology, culture, agendas and ambitions of the National Party and the politicians they will ask us to vote for or appoint from their list of obedient servants. Judith Collins took 25.6% of the vote.


Currently Luxon has National at 35% ish. Not sure how your maths is but obviously you're a graduate of "tomorrow's schools".


Private polling has National closer to 38 and labour under 30.


However National got there they got there under Luxon.
