It's fun to observe that Winston can do like Donald Trump : ignore the routine pre-election campaigning, galloping up and down the country making speeches, trying to impress both media and voters!!
He has been part of our NZ democracy for so many years. We all know him! And we all know that basically he is safe and OK. At least he is harmless - and at his best he is actually quite good.
Winston cannot be blamed for Ardern being so devious. Winston simply could not imagine that the Labour party which he had known and respected for so many years could ever change so profoundly or sink so low - completely besotted by a charming face and silky words.
Neither could I imagine such change. I have voted in all elections since immigrating to New Zealand in 1958 - always admired Labour - mostly voted for them.
I think Winston will be a great asset to the new government. He will get us back to the great country we once were.. We will be one people again. Sure I also think that we have problems, but they can be fixed with the right attitude. I also think that we need a referendum on The Treaty 0f Waitangi. It would have to be a binding one where the Government has to act on whatever the people want. I also think that a lot of controversial legislation that is put forward should go to a referendum that is binding. Also why can't a party stick by its manifesto when it is elected as Government.
Winston will be a suppository for all the Kiwis that are finding they have been bunged up from all the crap from the Labour / Greens dangerous codswaliop they have been feeding us. Enjoy the relief😃
I hear that in the latest poll Winston Peters has definitely topped the 5% line! Don't worry - he will most certainly be a force for the good in our new, conservative government - they will be forced to agree to his bottom line - which is, I think, bringing back English as the only, official government language!!. And we will all be greatly relieved when listening to Radio New Zealand!!
ACT has apparently dropped a lot in the polls - without a doubt because of Seymour's stubborn, silly belittling of Winston Peters. He quite forgot that when belittling Winston he also belittled Winston's many tens of thousands faithful followers. And what did Seymour gain from that?? Why …
For those who wonder what happened to Mahuta, here's your answer:She has been busy traveling abroad signing UN deals on the sly. See this: "Despite the long-standing caretaker convention, Minister Mahuta is today at the UN to sign a highly contentious “Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) Agreement”, delivering a national statement on behalf of New Zealand at the UN, and then undertaking bilateral meetings with world leaders and counterparts Labour is putting globalists in charge of the high seas, and from here the NGOs will take over the secretariat and expand the remit of this document, to ensure that all activity on the high seas will require UN approval - such as shipping, fishing, and deep-sea mining.…
