Unfortunately many of us have totally lost trust in all institutions, including the last bastion, health. It is beyond belief that people can no longer trust their family doctor. It appears that almost all were forced to comply with 'the (Labour) party line' supporting the pfizer jab, neglecting the professional scepticism and standards that would normally be expected from them. The world will one day look back in horror at this time of contrived global insanity.

The public service used to be able to keep things going often despite the worst MPs could do, but now it has been so well and truly broken, so hollowed out by identity politics radicals, decolonisation crazies, climate change alarmist nuts and stupid call after stupid call by this Ardern Government to whom short term optics is vastly more important than delivery, that it is impossible to get much of anything useful done let alone fix significant problems like health staffing shortages.

Believing and imposing, a fine line between that and totalitarianism. Maybe we could have followed Sweden or Taiwan rather than China.

It was based on mutual trust and respect. One's medical information was private and confidential. Decisions were made on the basis of informed consent and recognition of an individuals right of ownership of their own body. Doctors perceived the wellbeing of their patients as their primary responsibility and practicing medicine was not "just a job". It's all gone now. Government bureaucrats and insurance companies got involved in and controlling the payment of patient's money to their doctors. This enabled these 3rd parties to have authority and power that they did not deserve. They used this authority and power to interfere with, disrupt and desroy the relationship…

It took me a while but I came to realize that it is very important to be of service to other people. To be of service to other people we have to develop out inherent abilities and acquire useful knowledge and skills. That is the purpose of education and it is a lifelong pUrsuit. The more we can do for other people the more they are likely to do for us in return. That is the basis of business, in which productive people provide beneficial goods and services for willing buyers. Normal people feel happier and better about themselves when they know that are doing something that helps and is appreciated by other people. Reciprocity is a human characteristic that has been ESSENTIAL for the…
