I've read ACTs policies on their website and compared it with all of the other parties, ACTs are the only policies designed to reverse our countries demise.
The others are more of the same crap of meaningless, mince pie in the sky dreams.
As a science teacher I'd like to propose a 'backwards bound' cultural learning experience for 40 NCEA students. The process to be by total immersion in pre-European tribal life. Its purpose will be to demonstrate the spiritual/ scientific and deep cultural benefits as developed by tangata whenua (pre- 1820,) i.e. living in a remote, entirely natural, pre-European, holistic environment as conceived and outlined in the new science curriculum.
This experiential exercise, of necessity, would run for a full year, due to the scope and scale of the project. The student group would experience the beauty and peaceful isolation of olden day Maoridom in an as authentic as possible pre European site of their own (authentic) construction . Only pre-European, cultura…
What a total waste of time. This is the 21st century where there is no room for the nonsense of medieval tribal living or beliefs. We identify as a European style Country called New Zealand NOT aotearoa. Our language is English and we do not need a mix with primitive languages that are of no use outside of a handful of Māori who can always leave these shores an head back to the islands if they don’t want a civilised life
Time for a Honkey Hikoi. How about all the grey nomads descending on Wellington in their motorhomes. One lot could start at Cape Reinga and the other at Bluff. Imagine the numbers that would be gathered on the way and how Wellington would be clogged and have to take notice. Also Imagine how much fun it would be!
The old school KFC "Kainga Ora fried children"

We may be regretting that the British weren't more like the Spanish.
