Two things, is it true that Whakatane was taken over and closed down by the gangs, along with Opotiki, secondly, is it true that a team of Mexican oil workers are in the country, their job is to close down oil wells, onshore and off shore for good.

"Policing by consent" appears to mean that those of us with plenty to lose will obey the laws and fall into line. We'll pay our parking tickets, we'll stump up when caught by IRD's Uniform branch doing a few clicks over on King's Birthday weekend.

It also means those who don't fear the consequences, and are skilled at playing the victim card, will continue to do whatever the hell they like, and bugger the consequences. For them, there are none!

One law for law-abiding citzens, and another (no law at all) for others, and yet the govt's lapdogs (legacy media) run a progma on hte 6 o'clock news telling us about hte good the gangs are doing.

The gang member riding on the roof rack of the car in the Opotiki procession should be charged for failing to wear a seat belt and driver charged for not having one fitted to his rack! Disgraceful !

As it happens no one is charged but if you did this solo on Tamaki Drive you would be nailed. Police are impotent in this country in gang control . They are brilliant on murders though so give credit where due. The entire sworn Police force should be armed immediately with 9mm side arms. The gangs are armed.

I believe the gent that sat on his car on the motorway was charged with dangerous driving. No one was driving the car (it was stopped). Could he present a gang defence to get off?

Just another daily conversation in Auckland. For those going about their everyday business impeded by outlaws, this is the norm. Another show of lawlessness today aided by the now expected lacklustre Police reaction.
