A Year of It, also by Robert Jones , exhibits plenty of the same prescience.

He's failed all tests. Politicians of his juvenile abilities are a fraud on the voters. They must know that they do not have the executorship skills required for High Office. If they don't that alone speaks for incompetence. They have a duty of care which they have never performed.

Now they leave NZ to the ballot box to re-start again.

This time: Luxon, Seymour, Peters combo.. The corruption must be stopped.

They have had Mahuta and cronies sneakily working in the backgound to take over health, water ,local authority control. and more, It's got to the point that Waikato (Maori King ) are likely to cause a war among the tribes for their share of the spoils. (Ngai Tahu wan'ts all fisheries.)

@Henry Hobson

As for the Treaty of Waitangi, there should be a binding referendum on it, as to whether we keep following it, or close it completely.

I share your concerns, but a binding referendum is unnecessary and a waste of money and time.

[1] The Treaty made everyone equal. The Treaty simply affirmed what was agreed and that everyone was equal under the crown, and that Maori were free to look after their own land and sell it if they chose.

Anyone that believes that treaty says something other than what it says, needs to go back to school, for they do not know how to read and write. Reinterpreting the treaty, is like rivaling siblings scrapping over their…
