The answer to far-left radicalism is much more akin to far-right radicalism, not middle of the road centrism. Luxon's policies should be assertive items like sending the army into South Auckland to stop the out of control crime, or completely repudiating transgenderism, flushing the leftist ideologies out of the public service and education sectors, or informing Maori that they've had enough already and therefore they aren't getting any more, and they certainly aren't getting co-governance.

People would love this (while plenty of all the usual people would hate it) because it is refreshing to hear statements laden with truth, not with lies and PR. A general program of law and order is called for (and I mean going far beyond…

It is truly frightening when one stops to consider, not one of those that complied to the wishes of despots were prompted to do so at the point of a gun

Who would have thought, a Labour Party in complete disarray and incompetent, and National, too busy fence sitting and being woke, gliding in to a loss. Luxon is neither a pilot nor a leader.

National doesn't deserve being elected to power again. Tell yourselves, what have they done for the country and your family since the days of Muldoon?

The answer is nothing if you don't take into account taxpayer handouts to buy election votes.

The economy has been in a downhill slide since the mid 1970s when both parties chose to race each other to prove which was the best at expanding socialism. Today nothing has gotten any better. As Winston Churchill remarked, 'Socialism breeds misery', look around NZ today - what do you see?

The longer the cancer has been ignored the harder to rectify, it's going to take real leadership, not the phony woke academics that have been presented by the…

If Te Reo Luxon cannot stop pandering to the various, vociferous, militant , screaming skulls then both he and National are destined to spend the next decade on the opposition benches.

Stop pandering to the part - Maori elite who do NOT speak for all Maori, they are just the greedy thieving , lying, racist 0.0001%.

Do not bother contesting the racist Maori seats - you are wasting your donors money - and they know it.

Stick to the long lost National Party principles that are apparently gathering dust in a closet somewhere in the parliamentary complex.

"Stick to the long lost National Party principles "

It's that simple. That is all we need to hear.

National have , through ineptitude and slavishly following woke Feely- touchy crap have guaranteed that they may well lose the upcoming election. National desperately need to show the bark and rhetoric that they espouse as a true alternative, and start bloody well acting on it. Good lord, how hard can it be? Just witness this talentless and frightfully useless Muppet show running new Zealand the way they are. National correctly point out the multitude of faliures ( you'd want a good few pens and a ream of A4 handy to list them) but can't seem to offer real and plausible alternatives.

To be fair, some of the policy of late has merit. But National need to stop watering down socialism…
